We are always looking for ways to improve our impact on the environment and society. All of our team are focused on balancing our carbon impact and have set ourselves a target of working towards becoming a climate positive business.
All of our team are focused on balancing our carbon impact and have set ourselves a target of working towards becoming a climate positive business. With this in mind for each new client that engages with Fogwill & Jones we shall make a donation to the Woodland Trust. The Woodland Trust is the largest woodland conservation charity in the United Kingdom concerned with the creation, protection, and restoration of native woodland heritage. It has planted over 50 million trees since 1972. By investing in the planting of new native woodland, we can make sure that our CO2 emissions are absorbed from our atmosphere and stored by the trees as they grow. In addition, we hope that the donations will not only plant more trees, protect native woodland and wildlife, but inspire everyone to enjoy and value our woodlands for generations to come.
Our team are avid recyclers and have adopted a go green approach to recycling office waste. We recycle plastic bottles, cartons, paper, cardboard, cans, printer toners and batteries.
We are progressively implementing processes to reduce our paper usage within the office. Any paper we do use is recycled.
We have also been known to raise charitable funds through sponsored sporting events to help those less fortunate and support the local events in the community. This year Fogwill & Jones will be supporting the Sheffield Cathedral’s Christmas Tree Festival which runs from 30 November to 2 January by displaying a company themed Christmas Tree. At end of the festival the trees will be chipped and disposed of in an environmentally friendly way. A proportion of the cost of chipping will be donated to The Children’s’ Hospital Charity in Sheffield.
On the 13th of March our running team successfully completed the Dronfield 10k raising £660 to fund vital dementia research to make breakthroughs possible.
